Receive many greetings from Kenya.
I was so excited to have an opportunity of visiting one of the SI planted churches with my 3 COK/New Hope students who were on practical missions outreach to make them get the glimpse of missions . I was
accompanied by two top boys from New Hope Children program - Nicodemus who is in high school and Evans sitting for his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education examination this November 2012.
Nicodemus Emus was the minister of the Gospel of the day. I had to step aside to give this boy a chance to see how far he has gone in the spiritual docket. It was so interesting to see a boy who was desperate and no hope in life breathing the message of hope and the grace of the Lord upon his life to the people of Kangkukus. After the message the church of God was moved and 9 people gave their lives to Christ.
Evans gave a moving testimony highlighting his spiritual journey right from the streets of Lodwar to the New Hope program at Soweto. He challenged the congregation to have God as the only source of hope in life because he can turn a useless thing to become useful basing his arguments on his life. Dorcas took stand of challenging girls to go to school in order to compete with the boy child. She gave them courage of becoming somebody after school.
The mission trip to Kangkukus was so good and trip back home was safe.
Glory to God.
