Some interesting information: A non-profit course taught me that most formal Gala's organizations throw raise little to no funds for the cause and many cost the non-profit considerable money. What? Really?! Yes. Most of the time Gala's are for raising awareness more than raising funds. Gala's are wonderful, but think about the experience: over indulgence, waste and a false sense that your donations that night are helping the cause rather than paying for the event itself.
This year New Hope Children made the decision to go Green. We're Eco Green and we're saving a lot of Green by hosting our Gala online! Our Gala website was graciously donated by two key companies with individuals who donated their time and talents to help New Hope raise awareness and funds for impoverished youth.
